Overwater House is deceptively spacious and can accommodate
six comfortably.

Accommodation

Overwater House in the beautiful area of Waternish on the Isle of Skye can sleep up to 6 adults, in three large bedrooms. Downstairs there is a superking sized bed which can be split into 2 full sized singles. Upstairs there is a king sized bedroom and a third bedroom of two, full sized single beds.


GROUND FLOOR


Porch

There is a large front porch so no need to be tripping over shoes and outerwear.



Kitchen

Newly fitted, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, double oven, microwave, washer dryer, integrated fridge/freezer, plenty of storage space and available work surfaces with fantastic sea views.

Open Plan Lounge & Dining Area

Dominated by the large patio doors & the sea views beyond, this room has plenty of comfortable seating, including a corner seating arrangement. There are also 2 comfy chairs in front of the large patio doors. There is a large dining table, Sky TV, DVD and CD player. There is an open fire and brand new storage heater. The shelves are full of excellent reading material, some DVDs and games.



Bedroom 1

Large room with a superking bed which can be separated to form two, full size single beds. A charming room with ample storage and far reaching sea views.



Main Bathroom

Spacious with new 3 piece suite, shower over the bath and under floor heating. There is considerable corridor space on the ground floor which the owners are keen to fill with interesting local art.



FIRST FLOOR


Open plan seating/dining area with small kitchen
Bed settee, small dining table and chairs. Small kitchen with sufficient equipment to make breakfast or light meals.


Bedroom 2

Is a large room with a king size bed, walk in wardrobe, ample storage, two armchairs, and fabulous views through an enormous velux window.



Bedroom 3

Another large bedroom, with two, full size single beds. There is a wardrobe, drawers, two chairs, with the same fabulous views from an enormous velux window.

OUTSIDE SPACE


There is ample outside space, although the gardens are enclosed, back & front, the fences are not ideal & small children will need close supervision. There is a large raised patio which offers a breath taking panorama of sea and islands and which is a real suntrap. This is accessed via the French windows or the back door of the house. The lawned garden slopes down to a small fence with rough ground and sheep beyond. There are three drives at the front of the house so there is ample parking.


GENERAL INFORMATION


The house is heated by a system of new electric, overnight storage heaters which include additional ‘anytime’ convector heaters. All heating costs are included in the rent with the exception of fuel for the open fire. Bed linen and towels are provided. Should you wish to use the sofa bed you will need to bring your own bedding/sleeping bag. A highchair and travel cot are also provided.
